I have added the -i flag that allows you to pass duplicate feeds and have r2e silently ignore them. This supports my contacts management strategy wherein I record peoples' RSS feeds as a files in a bguo directory and then export them to different formats as I need.
I ran this once on the server to configure my email address.
export PYTHONPATH=.local/lib/python3.6/site-packages/ ~/.local/bin/r2e new tlevine
On my personal computer I periodically generate the feeds file with bguo and copy the feeds list to a server.
python3 -m bguo export c opml | ssh ma.sdf.org 'cat > .config/feeds.opml'
Then I periodically load the feeds file and download the feeds; this is the crontab on the server.
export PYTHONPATH=.local/lib/python3.6/site-packages/ @daily ~/.local/bin/r2e opmlimport -i < ~/.config/feeds.opml && ~/.local/bin/r2e run
